Hey Lovelies,
Hope you're well!
As most of you know - I'm a Lip Gloss lurver!!
So, when the lovely and fun ladies at Girl Powder asked if I would like to try their Lip Glosses - I said "For Sure!!".
Girl Powder market their Lip Glosses to active females that strive to live a healthy lifestyle and who value natural products. To fulfill the high demand for a natural, non-sticky, beautiful lip gloss for active females of all ages to enjoy, Girl Powder's Active Lip Glass was made.
I received the three "snow cone" flavours - Strawberry, Pineapple and Bubble Gum - which I must say are all yummy! With an added bonus of them using 99% natural ingredients and no harmful chemicals, you can taste away haha!! You have to be a fan of sweet scents though!
Each Lip Gloss contains Shea Butter and Vegetable oils and minerals to keep your lips moisturised and protected naturally from the sun.
One huge plus of these Lip Glosses is they're not sticky!! So no more hair sticking to your lips - yay! They have light reflecting elements that allows you to glow all day long.
They are $15 each or $30 for all three (10g tubes) on the Girl Powder website.
Overall I really like the Girl Powder Lip Glosses and certainly recommend trying them out :o)

Hourglass Aura Sheer Cheek Stain - Flush
Hey Lovelies!
Hope you're well :o)
I recently filmed and wrote a review on the Hourglass Aura Sheer Cheek Stain for Makeupgeekxtra and I thought I would share it on my Blog as well.
Here is the video review:
And here is some more info and my thoughts on it:
Retails for $45 on the Hourglass Website.
It comes in three shades – Petal, Flush and Rouge. The particular one I tried was Flush.
It is oil free and fragrance free which is good to prevent breakouts and it’s actually water based and light weight so it lets your skin breath. It has Vitamin E to nourish your skin as well. It says that it is to provide a natural, subtle glow to your cheeks with light reflecting elements and the colour is to last all day.
How you apply it is by twisting the bottom which is a click mechanism – you can work out how many clicks you prefer for each application so you make sure that you have the same amount of product for each cheek. You dot it onto the apples of your cheeks and blend from there and you can then layer for more colour if you like.
You only need a tiny amount, it’s very pigmented. The product is very bright when you dispense it but once you apply and blend it, then it just gives a natural glow. The only thing is that you can’t use too much powder before using this cheek stain as it doesn’t sit properly on your skin – can look blotchy.
An added bonus is that you can use it as a lip stain as well – it doesn’t last as long as on the cheeks though.
Overall I really enjoy using this product - it is a bit pricey but you only need a tiny amount for it to work.
If you’re looking for an all day glow on your cheeks then you should check out the Hourglass Aura Cheek Stain.
I hope this review was helpful for you!

Maybelline NY "FITme" Foundation & Concealer Review
Hey Lovelies!!
Hope you're all well :o)
I bought the New ('New' for us Aussies) Maybelline NY FITme Foundation and Concealer (as below) a few weeks ago and thought I would let you know what I think of them. I got number 235 in the Foundation and number 20 in the Concealer.
I featured them in my recent Favourites Video:
First off I'll say that I've been in love with the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse (as below) for the past year or so and have been threw around 15 bottles of it haha! I am Medium - Pure Beige. I've been trying out different foundations during that time but hadn't found anything that I preferred over the Maybelline DLM. That's until I tried the FITme Foundation.
I am one that doesn't want too much coverage - I want a foundation to have more coverage then say a tinted moisturiser but still look natural and flawless. I also like a dewy look rather than Matte (especially coming into Spring/Summer). I find that the Fit Me Foundation satisfies these requirements.
I wouldn't recommend it for people with oily skin - it's best on normal to dry. It's got a very lovely, light formula and it claims to allow your skin to breathe. It's also got a translucent base and lightweight pigments to highlight your skin's natural highs and lows. It's also got an SPF of 15.
I found applying it with my fingers didn't work as well as using a foundation brush.
The only downside with it is the bottle it comes in - it looks great! But to dispense the product is a bit of a hassle - I really like the pump dispenser of the Dream Liquid Mousse.
The "FITme" name means that you should be able to find a shade (number) that best matches your skin tone. They have the relevant Concealer and Powder that matches with that Foundation Colour (number). I believe there are 18 foundation shades available but I've only seen up to 12 different shades in store in Australia.
Pricing will vary wherever you source your Maybelline products but the average is around $18 for the 30ml bottle.
Here are some swatches (Number 235):

In relation to the Concealer - it's fantastic! I always go a shade or two lighter than my foundation as I use it around my eye area. I got the number 20 in Sand.
There are 6 different Shades available in Australia and the average price is $13 for 6.85ml. It's got a brush applicator which I really like.
Once again the formula is light and gives a natural coverage.

Thank you for reading and have a great day!
